On 15.II.1734 AN, Villa Esperanza was struck by a devastating landslide triggered by several days of continuous heavy rainfall.[1] The disaster caused significant destruction, burying homes under mud and debris, and leading to widespread damage across the town. Early reports indicated a substantial number of casualties and considerable disruption to the community's way of life. Emergency services, including national disaster response teams, were promptly deployed to conduct rescue operations and aid the affected residents.
