The Sejmik of the Polonias Republic is the main national legislative assembly of Poland. The current Polonian Sejm was established in 1701 after the fall of the nationalist regime.
It consists of 50 deputies elected for a four-year term by ballot in universal, equal, direct and proportional elections .

During the period of socialism from 1947 to 1989, the country's unicameral parliament was called the Seim.
Structure of the Sejmik
Marshal of the Sejmik — the chairman presides over the meeting. Deputy Marshal of the Sejmik - deputy heads. The chief of staff has two deputies, and the marshal's security service is responsible for the security of the Sejm. Members' clubs ( klub poselski ).
