BE IT ENACTED by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Cortes Federales, in this present session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-


PART I
GENERAL PROVISIONS.

Article 1: Citation.

  1. This act shall be officially cited as the "Western Valencia Admission Act, 1726".

PART II
FORMER LOSTISLAND ADMITTED AS PART OF VALENCIA REGION AND INTO THE FEDERATION OF NOUVELLE ALEXANDRIE.

Article 2: Admission of Western Valencia.

  1. The former Lostisland, also known as Western Valencia, shall be admitted as part of the Region of Valencia and shall also be admitted into the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie on equal footing with the existing Regions, and the Proclamation of Punta Santiago shall apply to Western Valencia in the same manner and to the same extent as to the existing states.
  2. The capital of Western Valencia shall be the city of Méry, formerly known as Montediszamble, which shall be considered a Special City as provided by the Regional and Local Government Organization Act, 1699.
  3. A military governor appointed by the Federal Forces shall have plenipotentiary authority in Western Valencia until such time as the Region of Valencia shall provide for the structure of the civil government of Western Valencia.
  4. The Civic Assembly and Youth Assembly of Méry, in accordance with the Regional and Local Government Organization Act, 1699, shall be deemed constituted upon enactment of this Act. It shall be the duty of the military governor to advise and prepare the residents of West Valencia for the same, and to convene and secure both Civic Assembly and Youth Assembly in accordance with law.

Article 3: Enabling Act.

  1. The Proclamation of Punta Santiago is hereby extended to Western Valencia.

Article 4: Representation in the Cortes Federales.

  1. Upon admission, Western Valencia shall be entitled to elect a number of Deputies of the Federal Assembly in accordance with the laws.
  2. Until such apportionment is made, the Deputies of the Federal Assembly shall be elected in the same manner as provided by the Proclamation of Punta Santiago and the relevant laws for the election of Deputies.

PART III
CLOSING PROVISIONS.

Article 5: Closing Provisions.

  1. This act shall apply to all of the Federation of Nouvelle Alexandrie.
  2. This act shall not become law unless it has been given Royal Assent.
  3. This act shall be published and made publicly available.
  4. If any provision of this act, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the remainder of the act, and the application of such provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected thereby.
