Since its inception in 2823 ASC, Zimia has served as the gateway between Eastern and Western Pallisica. In addition, it has long served as the home of the nation's military; even today it is home of the Passasian War League. Zimia, at one point, was the location of a minor religious extremist uprising. Despite the city's military legacy, the people of Zimia lead a mostly agrarian lifestyle. Grain is produced here in abundance, though some nearby communities are driven by fishing and mining.
