Established under the 1711 Act for the Bank of Suren, the Bank of Suren serves as the banker to the government of the Surenid Confederacy and has the exclusive right of issuing banknote and coinage. The Bank of Suren is tasked with maintaining the value of the Surenid tomen and supervision of banks and credit institutions. It acts as custodian of the foreign exchange and gold reserves of the Surenids.
