Myrca (officially the Kingdom of Myrca) is a former Crandish and Arminian duchy, now a kingdom within the Anglo-Saksen Commonwealth.

History

The Myrcans, also known as Mercians, were one of the original Anglo-Saksen tribes to form the first Anglo-Saxon Commonwealth. Arriving on the shores of Apollonia with other migratory Crandish tribes, they displaced the United Imperium. The first Myrcans were a warrior caste and were often employed by other tribes as mercenaries in the many petty wars between the various kingdoms. As such they came to be known as Mercians/Myrcans. When King David established the Anglo-Saxon Commonwealth with the West Saksens, Jorvik and Norsmen, the Myrcans were granted the eastern coast. They eventually became quite prominent leaders and the city of Deorby became the capital of the commonwealth.
