Novasolum Financial Services (Gotzborg) GmbH was founded by John Darcy and Mark Marks as a private banking venture headquartered in Anthelia, when it was an independent micronation.
History
The applicants chose to found the venture in Gotzborg, citing insurmountable conflicts of interest if they were to operate it in Anthelia, where Darcy was President and Marks the head of the Central Bank of Anthelia. On March 23, 2006, barely six weeks after submitting their application to register the business, Darcy withdrew it due to pending changes in Anthelia's financial market that would make it inappropriate for either to head a private bank domestically or overseas.
