Maria Teresa Motochanchi (Maria Teresa Isabel Motochanchi y de los Rios, b. 16.XII.1658 AN) is a New Alexandrian teacher and politician. Motochanchi currently serves as the Leader of the Opposition and the interim leader of the Social Democratic & Liberal Alliance of Nouvelle Alexandrie since 1713 AN. She serves as a Social Democrat Deputy in the Federal Assembly representing the Wechua Nation, serving since 1695 AN. Prior to that, she served as the first female Mayor of the city of Parap for one term (1690 AN-1694 AN), exiting office riding popularity ratings as high as 92% (1694 AN).

Biography

Born in the city of Parap, Wechua Nation on 16.XII.1658 AN, Maria Teresa Isabel Motochanchi y de los Rios is the daughter of Manuel Motochanchi, Jr., a teacher and union organizer, and Isabella de los Rios, the eldest daughter of Felipe de los Rios. During the Wechua Sorrow, the Motochanchis took up arms as part of their neighborhood's local home-grown defense committees as chaos engulfed the country in the Keltian Green. When the Sapa Wechua returned to lead the Wechua Restoration in 1673 AN, Manuel Motochanchi, Jr. was appointed to serve as Deputy Minister of Defense in the new government.
