Player selection

Team Meckelnburgh is chosen through the victors of the annual Meckelnburgh national championships, the Superspiels. The winners of the tournament represent Meckelnburgh at the World Curling Championships. In doubles, the winning team serves on the mixed doubles squad, while the second- and third-place teams are divided into men’s and women’s squads. In four-member curling, the first- and second-place teams are divided into two separate squads.
