Ulrich von Hutten
Ulrich von Hutten, (1659 AN –) a Germanian senior tribune of the Benacian Union Defence Force.
Early life & career
Born of a family raised to the non-titled "service nobility" by the Steward and Dictator Waldemar Zinkgraven during the War of the Casks. Adherent of the Covenanted Nazarene Church of Benacia and a lay preacher. Assigned to the coastal defence demi-regiment stationed in Lapano on the island of Florencia whilst a junior tribune in the Maritime Forces of the Black Legions. Inter-Service Benacian Snooker Competition silver medalist (1689, 1691) and gold champion (1690). Commander of a garrison of the Corps of Invalids from 1694 AN to 1703 AN. Promoted to senior tribune and posted to command of the Coastal & Littoral Defence Establishment at Buccisi (1703 AN–1704 AN). His study of Sanaman naval reforms and tactics was interrupted by the news of his quite unexpected appointment to Court of Governance for the Mehrshahr Special Economic Zone. After consultation with the General Staff Council in Merensk and the High Presidium of the Benacian Union in Chryse, it was decided to treat the appointment as being serious. Accordingly the senior tribune von Hutten was transferred to the External Service of the Benacian Union and assigned to the Euran Mission. Accordingly he made his way by scheduled air services to Raspur where he reported to the head of mission, the legate Hostilian Gortz, on 8.VI.1704 AN.
