Peretti Soccer Club (Peretti SC) is a professional soccer team located in Sayaffallah that is a member of the association called Sayaffallan Royal League. The Peretti Soccer Club is considered a founding member of the SRL and the promotion of soccer within Sayaffallah in general.
History
The Peretti Soccer Club was originally founded in 1760 by Sir Marcus Pierce as a gentleman's soccer establishment where the game could be practised as a means of relaxation for the tireless captains of industry. Sir Pierce was an extremely wealthy industrialist who ran a diamond and rare ore company that operated in the mountainous areas of the north with great success providing substantial employment for up to a third of the northernmost population of Sayaffallah. The Peretti Soccer Club was established in luxurious surroundings with a 36 acre private garden and large estate homes created along the periphery of the soccer field.
In 1790 the Club formally opened membership to those with great wealth from the general public as prior to this membership was on an invitation only and generally extended to the personal friends of Sir Pierce. As membership opened so did places on the operating board and by 1820 the club was in possession of several championships after having played other clubs from cross the country. By 1825 the club opened its games to the general public to attend and it quickly became a society event of utmost importance for the ladies of the region. By 1850 the club expanded their stadium to its present size of 51,000 seats and in doing so removed the estate homes along its outer periphery to be used for viewing stands.
To this day the Peretti Soccer Club is considered to be a refined club and one of the only ones that still maintains strict standards of dress and decorum during events in an echo of its roots and its former associations as a club for wealthy gentlemen. In 1960 the club celebrated its 200th anniversary and celebrated the opening of a large luxury hotel a half mile from the main field allowing those with means to be able to stay within the confines of the Peretti Soccer Club Estate.

Stadium
Peretti Park as it is known is the primary stadium for the Peretti Soccer Club with seating for 51,000 people having its last major structural renovation in 1850 however each year it undergoes structural engineering tests to ensure it remains up to national standards for safety and structural integrity. Peretti Park maintains a visitor section and a home section of the stadium complex with spectators required to a strict standard of dress and decorum during the game which are outlined before a purchase of tickets is made on the website or in person at the gates of the stadium prior to the game. No tickets are sold on the actual game day leaving spectators to purchase tickets either online prior to the event or in person at their leisure.
Peretti Park as a "refined stadium" provides complimentary hors d'oeuvre's as well as high quality champagne and wine during the game for spectators. In addition to this Peretti Park prides itself as a "Royal Stadium" even though it has never been granted this designation, by maintaining a box emblazoned by the Sayaffallan Coat of Arms on its front reserved for the royal family and never occupied by anyone else during the club's history.
The architectural design is unique to Peretti Park with the overhang being made of mahogany and cherry woods with acacia supports creating a spectacular contrast of wood colors in the evening hours and even during daylight as natural sunlight hits the wooden beams at just the right angle causing it to appear as if it is naturally illuminated. This design is an original design to Peretti Park with individual beams and planks replaced on a needs basis to prevent damage or warping of the beams thus eradicating structural integrity. The architectural design has been defined as elegant minimalist in nature and is frequently studied in architectural classrooms across the country.
Peretti Soccer Clubhouse
Peretti Soccer Club was originally designed as a retreat for gentlemen at the heads of industry in the late 1760s and was built to grandiose specifications by its founder Sir Pierce. As such the clubhouse remains today as a larger than life tribute to the founder of the club and its tremendous success in the SRL. Admission into the clubhouse facility is strictly reserved for members only and is staffed by a large security contingent to ensure that it remains a private space for its members. The architectural style was modeled after the baroque style of the Royal Palace in Bellissimomare the capital of Sayaffallah with large sweeping vistas and grand ballrooms and enormous dining rooms and libraries spanning a gigantic space of land with direct access through many parts to extensive private gardens established for the members which remain private to this day and closed to the general public.
Presently there are approximately 300 members belonging to the Peretti Soccer Club with the membership list kept quiet by the club itself for privacy purposes. The Clubhouse features 60 luxury suites in an extension built in 1890 off the east wing of the clubhouse facing inwards towards the garden courtyard and lake in the middle of the compound. The Clubhouse also features a helipad built in 1940 which is near the entrance gate of the compound near the security and administration buildings that monitor the grounds both during games and on non gamedays as well. The facilities include large practice training areas and as a courtesy all players of the team that stay on for a minimum of 5 years with the club are given gratis lifetime memberships to the club with all benefits extended and included.
"Infamous decorum"
The Peretti Soccer Club prides itself on what regulars call "infamous decorum" and for men that means morning coat with tails and for women it means a dress extending past the knees, gloves and hat. Gate footmen have been known to turn away those who are not within the guidelines of the decorum of the Peretti Soccer Club as well. These guidelines of decorum apply to all sections of the stadium and must remain in the dress guidelines for the entire time they are on the grounds of the Peretti Soccer Club Estate. This decorum extends to non-game days when members of the general public come for tours of the grounds and limited sections of the private gardens designated as open to the public.
