The Hajal Assassins are a professional soccer team that are a part of the association known as the Sayaffallan Royal League in the beautiful country of Sayaffallah.
History
The Hajal Assasins were formed by the regional government of Hajal during the Islamic period of Sayaffallah's history in the year 1790 as a way of interjecting into the SRL. The SRL initially refused the application of the Hajal Assassins asking them to spend 5 years in a regional league which they did but after the 5 years the SRL refused again saying that their caliber of play was not at the standards of the SRL yet and asked them to apply in another 5 years which they did. The refusals continued happening for over 25 years and finally in 1815 they were approved and formally joined the SRL. The team traditions are much more formalized with only 40,000 fans attending games on average each week despite a capacity at the stadium for only 15,000.
Kit and colours
The colours are a bright lime green and white with the away uniform being all white with green stripes.
Stadium
Hajal Stadium was built in 1940 and nestled among the mountains of northern Sayaffallah its location does not include any formal seats and is the only team in the country that must be subsidized completely by the government because of its lack of revenues. Revenues for the team only comes through merchandise sales and tickets to away games as tickets are not sold for home games leaving it completely free to the general public. The hills surrounding the field fill completely with people and after the game many of the players will walk to their homes over the hills and mountains surrounding the field. Away visitors are typically brought to the game by helicopter as there are no roads leading to the stadium and typical mountain journeys to get to Hajal take a week at the fastest depending on the water levels of the rivers surrounding the city and the conditions of the ice fields and crevasses around the route leading up the mountains.
