Biography

Early Life

Michel Sabbagh was born in early 1696 AN to a devout Hatayyian-Nazarene family in the town of Kramersville (Hatayyian: Suqhaa). His father, Amine, was a priest at the village church known for his bombastic and fiery sermons that imbued the young Michel with a passion for public speaking. His uncle, also named Michel, owned a large tomato farm outside of the village and owned the village bank. Sabbagh graduated from high school in 1714 AN and, against his father's wish for him to enter the priesthood, enrolled in the University of Noursala and enrolled in the school's Business program.
