Eisenreich Premier League
The Eisenreich Premier League (EPL) is the top level of association football in Eisenreich. Founded in 1713 AN under the patronage of the Kaiser, it is contested by eight clubs. Every season runs from March to November, with each team playing a triple round-robin format for a total of 21 matches.
The EPL is administered by the Eisenreich Football Association and serves as the highest tier in the Eisenreich football league system.
- Teams: 8
- Season: March – November
- Format: Triple round-robin (21 matches per team)
- Relegation: Bottom team relegated to the Zweite Liga Eisenreich
- Continental play: Top two clubs qualify for Micras competition.
Clubs
Neu Bakkenburg Adler
The capital’s imperial club, backed by political elites and regarded as the "face" of Eisenreich football.
Eisendorf Eisenwerke
Steelworkers’ team, gritty and working-class; traditional rivals of mining-town Silberthal.
Altburg Kronen
Traditionalist royalist club from historic Altburg, closely tied to monarchist symbolism.
Waldheim Wolfsrudel
Forest-town club, embodying resilience and raw physical play.
Silberthal Bergsteiger
Mining-town side, known for their defensive style and working-class identity.
Nordtor Sturm
Northern port club, famous for adventurous, attacking football.
Rotfels Revolution
Radical, ultra-supported working-class side with a politically charged atmosphere.
Drachenfels Ritter
Aristocratic “knight” club; wealthy backers and a tradition of strong youth academies.
Rivalries
- Imperial Derby: Neu Bakkenburg Adler vs. Altburg Kronen
- Steel & Stone Clash: Eisendorf Eisenwerke vs. Silberthal Bergsteiger

Culture
With only eight clubs, every major city or region of Eisenreich feels heavily represented in the EPL. The league is one of the few occasions where Eisenreich’s fractured social classes—nobles, workers, merchants, and clergy—come together under a common cultural banner.
Matchdays are treated as mini-festivals, often featuring marching bands, banners, and ceremonies. State propaganda is also intertwined with club culture, particularly in the capital Neu Bakkenburg.
