The Clear Sea

The Clear Sea, also known as the Jeriim Holm in Crandish, is a large body of water along the northern coast of Apollonia that is nearly completely enclosed by land. The only entrance or exit to the sea is through the Straits of Artsessdun. Meckelnburgh, by Iselande, and Lac Glacei currently (as of 1721 AN) share borders along the sea.

Both Lac Glacei and Meckelnburgh have had long vested trade interests in the area, including the reconstruction of the Nurthaven and Antruusbuurg Canal. Prior to the annexation of Jääland, Meckelnburgh required the canal for eastward sea access across the Jääland Peninsula, otherwise blocked by ice in the Northern Sea.
