The uniformed services of Meckelnburgh, known officially as Their Royal Majesty's Uniformed Services, are the eight military and quasi-military services that commission officers in the Kingdom of Meckelnburgh. The uniformed services are coextensive with the Meckelnburghish military as all members are trained in arms and liable to be deployed in combat. The tradition of placing certain professions in uniform in Meckelnburgh descends from the need to protect certain servicemembers, such as surveyors and medics, under the laws of war.
Branches
The eight uniformed services, by order of precedence, are:
- Meckelnburgh National Guard
- Royal Meckelnburgh Navy
- Royal Meckelnburgh Air Force
- Royal Meckelnburgh Saeweard (coast guard)
- The Meckelnburgh Douanes
- Public Health Service Commissioned Corps
- Environmental Science Service Commissioned Corps
- Cyber & Information Service Commissioned Corps
