The Mobius Research Station is an antarctic research station operated by the Ciric Confederacy and mainly under the control of the Southern Meteorological Service. The station is equipped with many high-tech devices and weather instrumentation to monitor every aspect of weather in the antarctic. The station is located outside of confederate territory, being on the pack ice and tiny rock formations away from the major southern landmasses.
History
The station was built in 1671, with the intent of allowing a more accurate measure of southern weather patterns through triangulation methods and coordination with stations on Sypyr, though over the years military technology has been discretely moved to the station for a secret purpose.
In late 1680, the station became the launch point for Project Microburst, which was highly classified and heavily obscured from foreign intelligence, even being hidden from the confederacy's ally Caradia.
