Kassi Shunabiela Trenk (born 2003) is a Krasno footballer who plays as a forward for Krasnovlac Women's League team Belaov Treble Women. Highly considered as one of the best youth prospects in Krasnovlac, Trenk was shortlisted in the Krasnovlac Youth Sportswoman of the Year during her high school years.
A poacher, Trenk's ability to scan her surroundings and track her movements to fall out of sight of the defence lines makes her one of the best strikers in the league, winning the golden boot in the 2021 season scoring 13 goals.
Early life
Trenk was born in Kyrtzhuosci in a prominent football community, often playing street football with her friends until late at night. Her father was former footballer and coach Sha-Mesia Trenk who played and coached Raichfield Town.
Trenk enrolled in Raichfield Secondary School and joined the girl's football team. In her first season with her school team, she scored 5 goals in 6 group stage appearances but unfortunately did not progress to the next round. Trenk managed to bring her team into the round of 16 in the following year but were knocked out 6-2 on aggregate. Trenk scored 8 goals in 8 appearances.
Raichfield Secondary Girl's Team did much more better in their following two years however, as they won the tournament in 2018 and got a fourth place finish in 2019. Trenk scored 20 goals in 26 appearances.
Club career
Belaov Treble Women
Trenk was signed by Belaov Treble Women after her graduation in 2019. She scored 4 goals in her inaugural season. In the 2020 season, Trenk scored only 6 goals but her involvement in creating goals for her other teammates didn't go unnoticed. Despite losing the title to Women of Kainen, she was nominated for Young Player of the Year.
In the 2021 season, Trenk's 13 goals in 10 games was her highlight season. She scored in every game that season and also topped it off with 6 assists. Trenk not only won Young Player of the Year, but she also won every individual accolade such as Player of the Year and Goal of the Year.
International career
Trenk was called up to the national team in 2022 after her stellar 2021 season. She scored her first goal in a 5-2 loss against Arboria, also recording an assist. Following the conclusion of the 2022 FMFF World Championships, Trenk scored 9 goals in 8 qualifying appearances including a hattrick against Raspur in a 4-1 victory. As of 28 July 2022, she is the national team's top goalscorer was 9 goals.
Personal life
Trenk has been in a relationship with Krasnovlac national team captain Yech Reich-kyrt whom she met during secondary school. The pair have been going out since 2018, both coincidentally joining Belaov Treble after graduation and winning a Player of the Season award.
