The Krasnovlac Women's League, currently known as the Pazuwai Krasnovlac Women's League for sponsorship reasons, is the highest level of women's football in Krasnovlac. Founded in 2017, it is run by the Krasnovlac Football Federation and features six teams.
The league was established as a means for women to have a feel in the football scene. This was when the women's category in football for the Krasnovlac Secondary Schools Tournament was also established. The league is yet to be considered professional, however, the football federation is planning to increase stability in the league and provide professionalism for the league. There is no relegation system.
The starting dates for each season falls in the last week of May and ends on the last week of July.
History
Following the rebranding of the Krasnovlac Elite League in 2014, there were questions about women's football in the nation. Despite promises that it will be looked into, the first real discussion about it came up during mid-2016. when Belaov Treble and Kyrtzhuosci Hanbei established their women's teams. The league was then introduced in 2017 with 6 teams.
Competition structure
From 2017 to 2019, the league was played in a one round system where teams played each other once in a neutral venue. During 2020, the system changed to provide more competition and game time for women footballers as the number of rounds increased to two with a home and away structure as well.
After the league in July, all six teams play in the Women's Cup featuring two groups of three with the winners of each group playing each other in a final.
