The Decree in Whales on Judicial Appointments (D-1704-001) is a decree by Daniyal ibn Daniyal, in his capacity as Prince of Whales, issued on 19.VI.1704 AN.
The decree attends to the appointment of named individuals to judicial offices outlined in the Constitution of Whales.
Text
It is hereby ordered:
- All members of the judiciary in Whales, holding office prior to the date of this decree, are thanked for their services and dismissed from their posts;
- Daniyal ibn Daniyal is appointed as Tribune of the Court of Cassation;
- Daniyal ibn Daniyal is appointed as Tribune of the Court of Admiralty;
- Frederik Anders is appointed as Chief Notary to the Court of Cassation & the Court of Admiralty;
- No case shall be heard by the Court of Cassation or the Court of Admiralty unless it presented to the Chief Notary for review and is considered by him to be admissible.
