Since Steve considers himself male, technically all romantic and sexual activity he acts out between his bodies is homosexual, or really autosexual. He does not consider this to conflict with the fact that he does usually use roughly half of his bodies - mostly, but not entirely, the biologically female population - to perform female behavior. The occurrence of actual sexual behavior between any pair of Steve bodies is, however, significantly rarer in general than in mentally distinct human populations.

For visitors in Steve lands, the issue of LGBT rights naturally falls into two different categories: Relations between mentally distinct humans and Steve, and relations between different mentally distinct humans within Steve territory. The former, as with between Steve bodies, is strictly considered homosexual or heterosexual based on whether, respectively, the other person considers themselves male or female - regardless of their biology or that of the Steve body involved. As for relations between visitors, he's learned to not be too creepy about asking to watch.
