Kaiser Gaelen I (Gaelen Ly'Technomaezj-Metzler) was a Shirerithian kaiser. He is remembered for annexing the former lands of the Union of Apollo States and creating the Dutchy of Kildare.
During his reign, the weakened Youya Dynasty of Jingdao crumbled and was eventually replaced by a ruling class of his own: the Jierdai Dynasty. His military campaign ended successfully with a definitive victory at the Battle of Jasoniacheng against the Taiyang Emperor's forces. With this victory, he effectively crushed any military resistance in the south of the Jingdaoese mainland, while it also offered a springboard to pacify the northern, less developed territories.
His name lives on in the little sea town Gaelen's Landing, in the Zhaoqin Province.
He died in 1461 after a long illness, willing the throne to Kaiser Brrapa VI.
