The Evard Automobile Company, usually known just as Evard, is an automobile company in the Ciric Confederacy. Founded in 1568 by Emmanuel Evard, the company has been manufacturing vehicles for the confederate populace, as well as the Ciric armed forces, notably producing the Z87 General-Purpose Vehicle and the IC9 Infantry Fighting Vehicle. The company has a reputation amongst confederates as producing reliable cars that can handle most terrain types, and the company appeals to this reputation by aiming for the target demographic of upper-middle class citizens. The company was also a notable early adopter of electric technology, switching all production to electric-only cars in 1659, five years before legislature in 1664 restricted the use of traditional gasoline vehicles in the confederacy.
