Birgesh Sumo Federation is the organization that currently governs Sumo for men and women in Birgeshir. The main tournament they organise is the annual Birgesh National Sumo Championships.
Simulation procedures
The BSF simulates the bouts with a traditional japanese toy called "Sumo Koma". It is basically a spinning tops battle. Each of the five spinning tops represents a sumo wrestler with an assigned color. The first wrestler (top) driven out of the dohyō (circular ring) or that stops turning and falls touching the ground lose the match.
In the second stage of the Birgesh National Sumo Championships the colours are assigned in the following order: Heavyweight champion (red), 2nd placed heavyweight (blue), middleweight champion (green), 2nd placed middleweight (orange) and lightweight champion (dark skinned red).
