Albury is the capital of the country of New Riverina. It is in the east of the country.

Paladin Square

Paladin Square is situated at the centre of Albury, with the People's Assembly, with its iconic towered roof leading off from the east side of the square. The Presidential Palace is situated to the north of the square, and hotels and restaurants are found to the west and south. At the square's centre is a statue of national founder James Paladin.

Transport

The Paladin Highway (M1) begins in the eastern suburb of Thurgoona. It runs through Albury to Wagga Wagga via Wodonga.
