The Blepian parliamentary elections of July 2017 determined the first Head Human of Blepia as well as the members of the Tionól Blepe, specifically the first. Voting was done in all ten first-level councils. These councils were in turn elected by the second and third level councils. Therefore, the election was indirect by the citizens of Blepia.
Overview
This election was the first after the unification of Blepia and subsequent democratisation. It was contested by five parties, the two main ones being Paírtí an Phobail and Solas na Saoirse. It was also the first test of the Blepian government system and was a resounding success.
