The House of Rothborne is the royal house of the Kingdom of the Union of Caputia. The dynasty is of Alexandrian paternal descent and native Hammish maternal descent. It was originally known as the Ravaillac family, succeeding to the Hammish and Caputian thrones as monarchs following the disappearance and now legal death of the former Royal Family and the resolution of the Hammish Civil War.
The name was changed from Ravaillac to a more Caputian name of Rothborne in order to remake the family into a Caputian royal family.
