De'Mos Hanskaievlajs Kushirda Vials, (born 1994), is a Krasnovlac-born Dauian professional footballer who plays for Hexarchy club, Pyrax FC. Primarily a centre-back, Kushirda has had moments where he was asked to play upfront as a striker.

Early life

Kushirda was born in a rural area in Krytshuosci to a family of five. Due to his family's economic status, he wasn't able to live the best life and found a coping mechanism through football. The rural area in Krytshuosci left his famly not only struggling for food but also for survival. Being the oldest child, Kushirda was sent to an adoptive family who took care of him and provided him with education fees to send him to Glaje Secondary School. Kushirda went to school under the name De'Mos Lavofsa. It was the Lavofsa family where he met his best friend and ex-teammate, Vlaoskai Lavofsa.

Kushirda joined Glaje Secondary School's football club primarily as a tactical assistant to future manager Harusi Ghi-Lorat but was registered as a player in case of an emergency crisis. Kushirda made his school debut when his teammate had to go off injured and he was the only available subsitute who wasn't a goalkeeper due to several players missing from the team to schoolwork or injury. Kushirda displayed a solid performance that kept him as a starter for his school which he graduated from in the early periods of the second half of 2010.

Club career

Experiences with the Hanbei group

Kushirda signed for Krytshuosci Hanbei in 2010 after his graduation as an emergency signing but did not feature in a single league match as the players in question were available shortly after his signing. As a result, Kushirda was relegated to the club's B team in the second division where Kushirda helped his team win the title three times but could not get promoted due to the rules regarding second teams. During his three seasons in Hanbei Satelitte Group, Kushirda scored 7 goals in 82 appearances with one of the goals being a half volley smashed in by Kushirda from 40 yards out. Despite his solid performances as a 19-year-old, Kushirda's contract was not renewed.

Noksvuola City

After leaving the Hanbei group, Kushirda was picked by Noksvuola City as a free signing and started in all of the games in his first season with his best performance featuring a 3-0 win against former club Krytshuosci Hanbei which ultimately led to them losing the title to Lorat Ultras. Kushirda had aplauds of praises as he not only became the highest assisting defender in the league that season but the highest out of every player as he racked up 14 assists in 30 games for the club from defence.

Kushirda's second season was slightly shaky however as he was sent off in the first league game of the season after blocking a shot with his hand in the match against Belaov City which led to the penalty being scored in just fifty-seven seconds. He redeemed himself in the later half of the season however as his free-kick goal against the same club helped Noksvuola reprive off relegation.

Difficulties in the club

Towards the end of his third season with Noksvuola City, Kushirda was involved in an argument with his manager after a 7-0 loss against Vaniking Shooters that caused the club to be relegated. The argument eventually turned into a physical fight and Kushirda was demoted to the reserves for his last few games. He came on as a substitute in the two matches and played mere seconds before his contract was effectively terminated the day after his last game for the B team. Kushirda cited that his reasons for acting as such was due to stress and anger after finding out the new of the death of his father and younger sister in a bank robbery and relegation only added fuel to the fire.

Lorat Ultras

Kushirda joined Lorat Ultras for the 2017-18 season as then secondary school coach, Ghi-Lorat wanted to reunite with his former student. Kushirda was handed his school's number 11 and became an integral part for the Lorat. He scored his first goal for the club in the Frontrunners Derby in a 2-1 defeat against Belaov Treble. Kushirda was hailed as a fan favourite early into his Lorat Ultras career after jumping into the stands to fend off an assaulter midgame.

Captaincy

Kushirda was given the captains armband during the 2019-20 season and saw the highs of his career as he helped his side keep twenty consecutive cleansheets before conceding a penalty in the next game. The club ended the season with twenty-four cleansheets and saw Kushirda winning the Player of the Year as Lorat Ultras won the league. Kushirda scored his tenth goal for the club against former side Noksvuola City from a corner.

Kushirda captained his last game in 2022 during the Krasno Shield as he was substituted in the second half following a head injury. He confirmed his departure from the club on social media.

Pyrax FC

Kushirda signed for Pyrax FC in Hexarchy along with Korshawl Maxchel-Lorat following a swap deal.

Personal life

Kushirda's family of five split up as his parents wanted their children to have a better life in other families but still kept contact and often met up to bond. His father and younger sister passed away during a bank robbery as hostages toward the end of his last season with Noksvuola City.

Kushirda was diagnosed with depression in 2017 following the deaths of his family members and his incident at Noksvuola City.
