The mass wedding at Teldrin in the eighth month of 1733 AN was undertaken by the N&H Future Leadership Programme with the support of the House of Osman, the House of Einhorn, the Honourable Company, and the United Ecclesiastical Corporation of Benacia. The purpose of the mass wedding was to reinvigorate certain key lineages whilst also rewarding the loyal service of a number of retiring legates of the Benacian Union Defence Force by inducting them through marriages into lineages that would render them eligible for election onto the Senate of the Lakes in Hurmu. Notably the Bothan Institute contributed volunteers selected from the graduating class of 1731 AN to support the initiative of the Future Leadership Programme.
