The 2020–21 MCF World Test Championship is the inaugural edition of the MCF World Test Championship, held between March 2020 and September 2021. The Championship is determined by a ranking of Test cricket sides based on their results over a two-year period, with each Test match being awarded a varying number of points based on the result and the length of the Test series.
The results of the tournament went towards the standings of the 2020–21 Micras Games.
Ranking system
Points are awarded based on the result of a given Test match, as well as the length of the series. Longer series place a lower weighting on the results of each individual match, but a higher weighting on the overall series outcome, with a maximum of 60 points available from a single Test match, up to a maximum of 150 points available for a five-Test series.
