The flag of Graecia (officially the State Flag of People's Republic of Graecia) is the official flag of the People's Republic of Graecia.
It is based on the Flag of Turkmenistan, and is also inspired by historical flags of Socialist states. It has got both praisal and criticism, mainly for the fact that it is considered too complex.
Symbolism
The red background symbolises socialism. The Hammer and Sickle represents Communism, while the star symbolises the state and the goals that shall be acomplished. The carpet pattern symbolises the Graecian people (and, to some extent, all the micrasians), who are all united under the state, and work harmonically for the benefit of all. The two crossed leafs in the bottom of the pattern symbolise the fact that the people are the most significant element of the state.
