Zephyr Aerospace Systems (ZAS) is a major Oportian aerospace and defense company that specializes in the design, development, and production of missiles, aircraft, and satellite systems. Founded in 1708 AN and headquartered in Vanie, ZAS has grown to become one of Oportia's leading defense contractors. In 1729 AN, ZAS was acquired by Javelin Industries, a prominent defense firm based in Nouvelle Alexandrie, in a deal that significantly expanded Javelin's aerospace capabilities and market presence.

ZAS is known for its cutting-edge missile technology, advanced fighter aircraft, and robust satellite platforms. The company has close ties with the Oportian Security Forces and has been a key supplier of aerospace systems for Oportia's military.

ZAS also operates the OpSat satellite constellation, which consists of three communications satellites in geosynchronous orbit that provide global radio, telephone, television, and internet services.
