Vindra Eilenður was born on the countryside outside Kaupang in 1685 and is daughter to Ore Eilenður and Tiata Eilenður. She lost her big brother Dorald when she was seven years old. He got the flu and the family was broken apart.

After Dorald's death, she and her mother became very close, since Ore abandon them and they needed to help each other out. Tiata was fostering Vindra to take the school serious and dedicate time to it, while Vindra was more interested to go out in the woods and swim in the lake, when she was not occupied with either shool or the need of the households. Despite this conflict they come together during night and Tiata told stories and fairytales which Vindra loved to listen to, and of course modify.

At the age of 18 she joined Junior Ranger of the Hurmu Peace Corps and was active for one year. Serving the Hurmu’s Peace Corps didn’t make Vindra complete, even if she thought of it as an honour. She therefore wanted to explore more about all stories and fairytales she and her mother was telling each other and became interested more to litterateur and history.

Vindra went to University in Kaupang where she studied literature for three years.

After those three years she moved to Huyenkula and started studying history for three years.

Today Vindra Eilenður is working as a researcher with great interest in history and nature and like to explore areas beyond the civilisation.

In May 1710, she found The Rolls of Simbal when she was walking in the area around Lake Tulsa.
