New Nsawam is a province of the Confederate Kingdoms of Oscland. The nation was established on the 10th January 2007 and has a multi-cultural background. The nation has citizens from many different backgrounds and religions. The nation mainly takes its culture from Ghana, Africa. The vast continent of New Nsawam is so rich and diverse in it's culture with it not only changing from one state to another but within an individual state. many different cultures can be found.
Much of New Nsawams cultural activity centers on the family and the ethnic group. Art, music, and oral literature serve to reinforce existing religious and social patterns. The Westernized minority, influenced by Micronational culture and Christianity, was rejected by some, but with the rise of New Nsawamians nationalism, a cultural revival occurred. The government foster national dance and music groups, museums, and to a lesser degree, artists and writers.
