In addition to this it is the de facto governing body for the sport of cricket in the Empire. Although named after one of the Alexandrian provinces, its players are drawn from throughout the empire.
The team was formed in June 2008 and played its first match on the 18th day of that month against the Britannic Sandwich Islands.
