Legal framework

The military doctrine is defined by law and is based on the principle of military neutrality, while also regulating the actions of the armed forces, the government and its institutions, as well as general population and the economy as a whole in the event of an invasion or violation of the sovereignty of Brezovo and Yavorina.

Although the armed forces maintain a position of military neutrality, they may act if it is determined by the Voivodat, the Voivoda, and the Vod that a military threat could be neutralized or deeply mitigated through armed intervention prior to an initial attack or invasion against the sovereignty of Brezovo and Yavorina.

In peace-time, members of the Naval Defence Forces hold the greatest authority out of all branches, as their powers enable them to protect vessels under national interests within the country's territorial waters, as well as the international waters.

The Ground Defence Forces and Air Defence Forces may operate outside the territory of Brezovo and Yavorina if exceptionally engaged in operations conducted by the Naval Defence Forces, or in the event of territorial expansion of the state’s sovereignty into internationally recognized "Green" territories.
