Krufn are a species of large black, crow-like birds that originate from Northern Appolonia, notably the eponomously named nation of Krufnsilfr. They have a wingspan of up to five meters, a long, sharp beak, and produce a shrieking sound that is said to be able to render those who hear it either deaf or insane. Their origin is unknown, but possibly linked to the Ancient Magic that housed in the caves under Crowsilver. In the past, the Krufn were contained by the Great Wall of Aegir, which separated the realms of evil to the realms of men.
