The Royal Theater of Vrijplaats is a theater, opera house and concert hall in Vrijplaats, Kurum Ash-Sharqia. It was founded by Beyza Maes in 1703 AN as the "Theater of Vrijplaats" and was awarded the predicate "Royal" by executive decree in 1709 AN.
Since its foundation, the theater attracted a diverse group of performers and artists. The theater became an important focal point of Kurum Ash-Sharqian performing arts and receives funding from the government.
