With a population of just over 112 thousand people, Stadt Sankt Rosa is the second largest city in the Confoederatio Aemilia, and the capital city of the City and Countryside of Sankt Rosa. It has almost the same population as the capital city of the confederation, Stadt Taktwinkel, which has 124.000 inhabitants. The city name honours Rosa Wollestein, who passed away during the expedition the island of Murder and is revered as a martyr. The city saw a massive expanse after it was founded in 1723 as former citizens of Sankt Ludwigshafen, as well as undocumented natives of Southern Cibola flocked to the city where they hoped to share in the prosperity of Taktwinkel.
The city is known for its many tall buildings, including quite a few skyscrapers, such as the Pink Needle, which is the tallest building in the principality. The city is known for hosting the South Cibolan Fashion Week, which is one of the most prestigious fashion events on Micras, where designers and labels from all over Micras showcase their newest collections. It's also home to the Sankt Rosa Rainbow March, one of the largest LGBTQIA+ pride parades on Micras, it's held on the 19th day of the 7th month, two weeks after the similar Green, Blue and Purple Day is held in Natopia.
