The Eeshan people are an ethnic group in western Keltia, distantly related to the Aryashti. Before 1581 AN they were a stateless people, dating back to Karnali, but with the establishment of Eesha, the fate of the people had changed completely. During the Eesha period, the people owned little land and the population was very dense in Aazhagapura Sethupuram. With the disappearance of Eesha in 1586 AN, the people again became stateless. With the formalization of Kunapura, the new city-state established around the old capital in 1694 AN, the Eeshan people partly formed another nation. In 1695 AN, the Hexarcy invaded the remaining Eeshan lands and the idea of Greater Eesha failed to materialise. The Greater Eesha is still voiced by nationalists in Kunapura and some went further with the idea of establishing a guerrilla, but ultimately the Kunapura Hexarchy was left as autonomous and this idea is now partly history. Although Eesha is already history now, it is still very important to the people of Eeshan.
