The 1680 elections in Sankt Ludwigshafen were the first elections ever held in the nation. The only party that participated in the elections was the Traditional Party of 1680, which received all of the votes. Its leader Siegfried von der Elfenbeinküste was elected as Stadtholder in the first session of the new Stadtparlement.
