The Great Sand Lake, sometimes referred to simply as Sand Lake, is a large lake located in the center of the island of Pacary. It is the largest lake on Pacary and is fed by numerous underground springs. The lake is connected to the ocean by a large waterway, the Sand Creek. The lake is named for the founder of Pacary and Lemuria, Sander Dieleman.
