The Hurmu Soccer League is the top football league in Hurmu. The league is contested by eight teams, with each team playing 28 fixtures during a season.

History

The Hurmu Soccer League was founded in 2012 as the Hurmu Soccer League, with 6 teams, and played its second season expanding to 8 teams. In the first two season, teams only played each other twice. After the fall of Hurmu, the league became the Lakkvian league, with most teams relocating to Lakkvia from now unclaimed territory, and changing their names to more Lakkvian names, with the League changing its name to Esimeneliiga. However, these names became unfavourable with supporters, and teams returned to their original Hurmu names half-way through the 2014 season. In 2020, following the reunification of Hurmu, the League returned to its original name.

Format

Each team plays every other team four times (twice at home and twice away), resulting with each team playing 28 games, and 112 games being played overall during the season.
