Revision as of 12:45, 25 June 2020
The Reforms for National Reorganisation are a series of reforms currently been enacted by Eugene Friedriechsen, the Premier of Graecia. They are intended to dissolve the Communist Party of Graecia (the ruling and only party of the nation), ideological reforms, and more. The premier claims that "theese reforms would restore progress in the nation", but, generally, theese reforms seem controvesial and many say that they are an attempt at a self-coup.

Background
The People's Republic of Graecia was founded on 11 June 2020 by Eugene Friedriechsen. It was originally founded as a communist Marxist-Lenninist nation claiming Graecia Island (former Taeland) (althrough the nation is not 30 days old and cannot submit the claim). The Discord server for it was created the same day. The first few days of the nation, there was a reasonable level of activity, and the most components of the nation were created that period. However, activity soon dried out, in a level that would make the nation's claims unacceptable. So, the Premier and Founder decided that something should change.
Reforms
Firstly, the so-called 'First State is dissolved. Many of it's pieces (eg; name, flag, emblem) remain the same. The most important change is the dissolution of the Communist Party of Graecia, the rulling and only legal party of the First State. All of it's powers (which are not recorded, as there is no constitution) are transferred to the Premier. It's Flag and the title of it's General Secretary (title aslo held by mr. Friedriechsen) are now considered void. Lastly, the state shifts from Marxism-Lenninism to Graeco-Marxism, a new ideology mostly based on Marxism, but with some new elements. Theese elements are the absense of a need for any party, a somehow more liberal economy, a state-regulated national currency (different in it's form from the one Marxist-Lenninist countries had), and, controlled state secularism (in oposition to state atheism).
