The EMU Championships (often abbreviated to EMU's) is the international continental association football competition for the EMUFA confederation.

The tournament was formerly contested every two years, but has switched to an annual tournament after the success of EMU 2011. The tournament was first contested in 2007, and there have been three tournaments so far.

Qualification

From the 2009 tournament onwards, the FMF World Cup qualification has served as a qualifying tournament for the EMU Championships. In 2009, only the top team in each group qualified for the competition. In 2011, the number of competitors increased to twelve, with the top two in each qualifying group, plus the highest third-placed team, earning a place in the tournament.
