TeleMont is the largest and most technologically advanced telecommunications company in Nouvelle Alexandrie, leading in both mobile phone and internet services. Headquartered in New Luthoria City, New Luthoria, the company provides cutting-edge infrastructure, connectivity, and digital services across the entire Federation. It holds a dominant market position, with over 40% of mobile subscribers and over 35% of residential and business internet accounts.

Founded in 1686 by industrialist Charles Montauban, TeleMont was among the first private enterprises to invest in a national digital backbone. Today, it is recognized as a digital infrastructure leader and a key player in the technological modernization of Nouvelle Alexandrie.

History
TeleMont began as a regional telephone provider in New Luthoria and South Lyrica before rapidly expanding through acquisitions and early investments in broadband and mobile networks. Its early adoption of 3G and 4G technologies gave it a crucial lead during the Federation’s founding and early development period. TeleMont played a central role in the digital infrastructure component of the New Prosperity Plan, working alongside the federal government on smart city integration, encrypted communications for government agencies, and universal broadband initiatives.

In 1703, the company launched the first national 5G rollout, followed by the “FiberGrid” in 1712, a sprawling fiber-optic initiative that brought high-speed internet to over 85% of households in Nouvelle Alexandrie by 1725.

Services
TeleMont operates a broad range of digital and telecommunications services, structured across three primary divisions:
* Telecommunications – Largest mobile network in the country with 5G+ service, prepaid and postpaid plans, and roaming coverage across Micras.
* Broadband & IPTV – Market leader in fiber-optic, cable, and satellite internet services; operator of “TM View” for streaming and IPTV content.
* Tech & Enterprise – Cloud computing, cybersecurity, IoT (Internet of Things), AI-integrated tools, and digital infrastructure for governments, schools, and businesses.

The company also runs a research and innovation unit, TM Labs, focused on AI integration, post-5G architecture, and low-earth-orbit (LEO) satellite internet technology.

Market position
TeleMont is considered the dominant force in Nouvelle Alexandrie’s telecommunications industry.
* Mobile phone services – Over 40% market share as of 1745, with national coverage including remote and mountainous regions.
* Internet services – 35% market share, with premium speeds and a reputation for reliable service delivery.
* Government contracts – Preferred vendor for encrypted communications and emergency communications infrastructure.
* Innovation – First to test and deploy 6G-ready nodes in urban zones as part of TM Labs’ “NextLink” pilot.

Corporate affairs
TeleMont is publicly traded on the Nouvelle Alexandrie Stock Exchange under the ticker TMT. It is known for strong governance and reinvestment in R&D. CEO Jeanne Lacroix, appointed in 1733, has overseen a pivot toward international partnerships and digital public goods.

The company funds major initiatives in digital literacy, STEM education, and public Wi-Fi infrastructure. It maintains joint ventures with local governments in New Luthoria, Valencia, Santander, Alduria, and South Lyrica to modernize public services through digital transformation.
