WHEREAS We recognize the history which exists between the [[Stormark|Viking Empire of Stormark]] and the [[Pendronia (Kingdom)|Kingdom of Pendronia]];

WHEREAS We take pride in any opportunity which allows Us to ensure and guarantee the honour and history of Pendronia;

LET IT BE KNOWN that We of Our especial grace, certain knowledge and mere motion do by these presents hereby allow the Army of the Viking Empire of Stormark to augment the name of its 1st Gulathing Regiment of Foot with the honour of being known as the Pendronian Guard;

AND We do provide the 1st Gulathing Regiment of Foot with the honour and right to use the badge of the King's Own Life Guard (1st Regiment, Royal Guard), formerly of the Royal Pendronian Army with elements now composed within the [[King of Pendronia's Own Regiment (24th Royal Infantry)]] as its own to distinguish itself and proclaim its namesake honour.

AND We do further direct and enjoin that this Royal Decree shall be read and proclaimed in such places as appropriate within the Royal Kingdom of Gotzborg.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused this Our Royal Decree by the affixation of the Royal Seal of the Kingdom to be published, by witness Ourself at Lonenberg Palace this thirtieth day of July in the sixteenth year of Our reign.
