The '''{{PAGENAME}}''' was the guerrilla force that liberated [[Sanama]] from the imperialist oppression under [[Shireroth]]. After Sanaman independence and the formation of the Democratic Federation, the guerrilla disbanded. Several thousands joined the newly formed armed service of Sanama and all assets and hardware were transferred as well. The political ambitions of the SALAD were assumed by the [[Sanaman Liberation Front]], which had acted as its political wing during its last years.

The '''Sanilla and Amarra Liberation Army for Democracy''' was a Socialist guerrilla force active in southern Benacia. Its stated goal was the independence of [[Sanilla and Amarra]] from [[Shirekeep]]. It was formed in 1594 following the reintegration of the Free State of Sanilla into [[Shireroth]]. It fought a low-intensity guerrilla war during the following 80 years. At its formation it was an adherent to Communism, but has shifted position over time to the principles of communalism, democratic confederalism and libertarian socialism.
