WHEREAS We recognize the need for Our Kingdom to be economically viable;

WHEREAS The need to provide for effective and efficient means of transport for the good and products which is produced within the borders of Our Kingdom and provide the building block to allow industry to thrive and grow;

LET IT BE KNOWN that We of Our especial grace, certain knowledge and mere motion do by these presents hereby charter the [[Gotzborg National Railway]] as a lawful and legal domestic business entity within our Kingdom;

AND We do direct that the Gotzborg National Railway hereby referred to as the 'company' shall:

#The company shall be known officially as the Gotzborg National Railway Company;
#Be composed of a General Manager, appointed to serve at Our pleasure, who will act in the capacity of leader of the company; 
#Be charged to survey, construct, manage and maintain the railway network within Our Kingdom;
#Purchase other railways where necessary in order to accomplish no 3;
#Provide to the citizens of Our Kingdom a network of passenger service of the highest standard; 
#Provide to the businesses operating within Our Kingdom a network for the transport of freight, products and other manufactured items to allow competitive and efficient transaction of said businesses; 
#Work within the laws, guidelines and directives set by the [[Royal Government of Gotzborg|Royal Government]] of Gotzborg.

The Company shall not:

#Set rates without the oversight and approval of the [[Ministry of Commerce & Industry|Vice-Ministry of Commerce & Industry]], [[Home Office (Gotzborg)|Home Office]];
#Expand into the territory of a foreign nation, even with that nations approval, without first attaining the approval of the Vice-Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Home Office and ourselves;

The General Manager of the Company:

#Shall be entitled to appoint a management staff as necessary to oversee the survey, construction and management of the company; 
#Shall be entitled to dismiss management staff as necessary and in the interests of following the rules laid our by this Our Royal Charter; 
#Shall be entitled to a remittance paid by the Home Office of Our Royal Government for the duration of their service only so long as the mission of the Company continues to be served;

The Logo shall be displayed upon all building facilities, equipment and vehicles in the service of the company;

AND We do further direct and enjoin that this Royal Decree shall be read and proclaimed in such places as appropriate within the Royal Kingdom of Gotzborg.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF We have caused this Our Royal Decree by the affixation of the Royal Seal of the Kingdom to be published, by witness Ourself at Lonenberg Palace this twentieth day of October in the sixteenth year of Our reign.
