View source for Oslic's Recad Power Station

The PAGENAME houses a gas fired turbine generating a maximum of 280MW Max CAP of electrical power. Situated near Hempton Bay in the Warring Islands, the station was originally built and operated by Nova English Electric Traction and remained in operation until the Evacuations and the Great Disaster. Restored to operation by Elwynnese settlers during the period of Froyalanish, the power plant was finally abandoned after the evacuation of the island in the wake of the Auspicious Occasion. Plundered of any removable parts with residual scrap value during the occupation of the site by the Sea Reavers the builings housing the power station complex were extensively damaged during the War of the Casks.

The restoration of the site began under the auspices of the Warring Islands Resettlement Administration (WIRA) with the installation of replacement gas turbines in 1680 AN and the first successful generation of an electrical current achieved in the 9th month of 1681.

Presently owned and operated by WIRA.
